This paper proposes a novel sine composite map, which is constructed by combining the Logistic map and the sine function. It not only overcomes the major drawbacks of the Logistic chaotic system but also remains a simple structure. Moreover, the simulation and comparison analyses demonstrate that the proposed chaotic map has complex chaotic behaviors with respect to either of the two control parameters. More importantly, its chaotic interval corresponding to each parameter contains an infinite interval without periodic windows, which indicates that the chaotic behaviors are robust.
