A family of Cd(ii) coordination polymers constructed from 6-aminopicolinate and bipyridyl co-linkers: study of their growth in paper and photoluminescence sensing of Fe3+ and Zn2+ ions

Five novel coordination polymers based on 6-aminopicolinate and bipyridine-type spacers are reported, showing fluorescent and phosphorescent emissions and good sensing capacity for Fe 3+ and Zn 2+ in water when processed as paper analytical devices.
