EBSD Analysis Technology and Its Application in Iron and Steel

EBSD(electron backscatter diffraction) is a relatively new,scanning electron microscope-based technique used to characterize microstructures and textures in polycrystalline materials.The basic fundamentals,development process,hardware configuration and experimental analysis method of EBSD were introduced.Several additional examples showing the application of EBSD to crystal orientation analysis,grain boundary character were demonstrated.
