Pterygium Surgery without Suture

Objective After using MMC in pterygium,conjunctive suture.is not needed.Methods Cut the ptery-gium at the neck and tear the head back at the same layer.Put 0.02% MMC at the sclera bed for 3 min,and no suture.Result The recure rate of this method is similar to the usual topical mitomycim C after pterygium surgery with suture.Conclusion Pterygium surgery without suture make the course simple and faster and decrease the wound and also avoid the medical sclera perforation.
