Objective To establish an high performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of Baicalin in Danyankang capsules.Methods Baicalin was separated on an Hypersil BDS C18 column at 280 nm with methanol-H2O-H3PO4(47:53:0.2) as a mobile phase.Results A linear relationship of Baicalin was found over the range of 0.25-2.5 μg.The regressron equation was Y=2.0739×106X-4555,r=0.9997.The average recovery of Baicalin was 99.3%,RSD=0.68%.Conclusion The method is simple,accurate and reliable for the determineation of Baicalin in Danyankang capsules.
