摘要
Nano particles of Aluminium phosphate have been prepared by chemical co-precipitation method. The particle size and crystal structure of Aluminium phosphate nano powders are characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The surface morphology of the sample is studied from SEM images. The FTIR spectrum is used to study the stretching and bending frequencies of functional groups in the sample. The absorption spectra of the sample are recorded in the UV range. From the analysis of absorption spectra, Aluminium phosphate is found to have a direct band gap of 5.41eV.
