SYNTHESIS OF ROSIN MODIFIED POLYURETHANE PAINT

The rosin modified polyurethane paint were synthesized by crosslinking hydroxyl alkyd resins with polyurethane prepolymers which was obtained by reacting TDI with rosin modified resin polyols.The effects of properties of alkyd polyols and reaction conditions on the performance of polyurethane prepolymer were discussed.It has been confirmed that the rosin modified polyurethane paint possessed good properties such as fast drying,high hardness and excellent furnishing performance.
