This paper discussed a new type polyacrylate pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) which modified with MQ resins. The MQ resins structure and the properties of the MQ resins-modified ployacrylate Pressure sensitive adhesives are characterized by 29Si-NMR, DSC, tack test and 180° peel test, et al. The results showed that the heat resistance of the MQ modified pressure sensitive adhesives was improved while the it maintains their mechanical properties (tack, adhesion and holding power) and insulating property. Additionally, the properties of the MQ-modified PSA's were significantly influenced by amount of MQ resins. Generally, when the amount of MQ resins reached as high as 3%-5%, the optimized PAS's properties could be obtained. This new PSA tape can be converted into industrial production conveniently.
