Toxicological Assessment on Safety to Dibutyl Phthalate

Objective To assess the safety of use of plastic enhancing agent dibutyl phthalate. Method (Experiments) were conducted according to GB15193-94. Result Three genetic toxicity tests showed no obvious positive (results). An 18-month feeding experiment indicated that the test substance produced adverse effect on a variety of observing (item) in rats. Conclusion Dibutyl Phthalate is a slow toxicity substance.
