摘要
In this work, a novel nanofluid containing amino-modified carbon nanoparticles with enhanced stability and performance was prepared for CO 2 absorption. SEM, TEM, EDS, FT-IR, Raman and XPS were employed to characterize the micro-structure, element, functional groups of the amine functionalized carbon nanosphere particles (APTES-CNSs). Moreover, APTES-CNSs nanofluids stability was comprehensively evaluated by Ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer (UV-Vis). The CO 2 absorption performance experiments, including the effect of solid content, temperature, amine solution concentration and flow rate, were carried out in a batch. The results indicated that a high stability of APTES-CNSs in the N-methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) solution. Besides, under the condition of 0.8 g/L solid content and the temperature of 30℃, the enhancement index of CO 2 absorption was more significant and reached 1.25 compared with the amine solution. The advantageous performance ensured the potential of APTES-CNSs nanofluids as advanced absorbents. • A nanofluid system based on amino-modified carbon nanoparticles was established. • Nanofluids showed significant enhanced stability and absorption performance. • Absorption mechanism is proposed and validated by various characterization.
