Enhancement of intrinsic luminescence by Sb 3+ doped (C 7 H 9 N) 2 CdBr 6 with lone pair 5s 2 electrons

In this work, we have chosen Cd as the metal center to synthesize a stable 2D metal halide (C 7 H 9 N) 2 CdBr 6 (C 7 H 9 N = 4-bromobenzylamine cation) and revealed its interesting luminescence properties through experimental studies and DFT calculations.
