Conjugated linoleic acids were prepared from soyoil by alkali isomerization using KOH as catalyst and 2-butoxy ethanol as solvent.Through the L9(34) orthogonal test,UV spectra to analyze the effects of four factors on the conversion of LA,and the optimum conditions for the preparation process of CLA-riched oil were found: reaction temperature is 135 ℃,reaction time is 3 h,m(KOH) ∶m(oil)=0.4 ∶1,and m(oil) ∶m(solvent)=2 ∶3.Under the optimum conditions, the average conversion of LA could up to 96.8%.The results show that the reaction can be carried out in a homogeneous system at lower reaction temperature during shorter reaction period with 4-butoxy ethanol as solvent.
