The Characteristics Summary of Atlas Compilation in Information Age

With the development of computer technology,the compilation of atlas has changed greatly.This paper elaborates the new features of atlas compilation from five aspects: contents of atlas,producing methods of atlas,information of atlas,symbols of atlas,decoration of atlas.This paper sums up the atlas compilation in national,provincial and city level in recent years.
