The structure of 109 Sn was investigated through the decay of 109 Sb whose half-life was measured to be 16.67+or-0.15 s. Gamma-ray spectroscopy measurements led to a decay scheme comprising 11 transitions among 9 levels in 109 Sn. The Q EC value for the decay was measured to be 6380+or-16 keV using a beta - gamma coincidence technique. The Q EC value for the decay of 112 Sb was also measured and found to be 7062+or-26 keV.
