The method and significance of Meta-synthesis

Meta-synthesis is a systematic review method of qualitative research, which adopts the SPIDER tool to build clinical questions, and establishes the structured inclusion and exclusion criteria. Operators were used to combine the key terms.Search strategy was established to retrieve systematically and the retrieval results were adjusted, read and screened.Qualitative Assessment and Review Instrument was used to evaluate the quality of included literature scientifically.Qualitative Assessment and Review Instrument Data Extraction Tools was adopted to extract specification normatively.The extracted original qualitative research results were integrated to form a more general meta-synthesis result.The reliability of meta-synthesis result was evaluated by CERQual tool, and was finally spread in the form of words, figures and tables, which was applied to the clinical practice to promote the stable development of nursing science.
