The diagnosis and treatment of optic nerve sheath meningioma

Objective To study the early diagnosis and proper treatment of optic nerve sheath meningioma.Methods The clinical data and image features of 12 persons (12 eyes)with primary optic nerve sheath meningioma werere trospectively analyzed. Result The main manifestations includes single exophthalmos, vision descent,optic atrophy and limitation of eye movement.It can be verified by CT and MRI.Conclusion The multi-slice and enhanced CT/MRI scanning must be performed on all patients,at the same time performed with fat suppression technology.
