How to Leverage AI to Benefit the Chemical Industry

Abstract The chemical industry has at least as much to gain from applying AI tools as any other vertical, but it possesses its own unique challenges and obstacles that handicap the successful implementation of AI. Herein, the difficulties in applying AI to chemical plants are addressed and the importance of a cognitive layer is explained, which delivers context for AI tools and enables implementation.
