Soluble TREM-1 is not a useful biomarker in the diagnosis of early-onset neonatal sepsis

Aim: Sepsis remains a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in neonates. We aimed to investigate the use and reliability of the soluble triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells (sTREM-1) biomarker for suspected early onset of neonatal sepsis (EONS).
