An unusual type of boundary elements is examined. The suggested boundary element is a three dimensional one. Such boundary element is called a module-boundary element (MBE). The description of a moduleboundary element is given. Theoretical aspects of such approach to solution of hydroelasticity problems are substantiated. Some details of practical application of MBE are presented.
