Effects of Phyllanthus Emblica Compound Tablets to Human Salivary Secreted IgA

Objective:Through the observation of the effect about Phyllanthus emblica compound tablets to human salivary secretory immunoglobulin A(SIgA),and preliminary discuss the regulating action to human oropharyngeal mucous membrane immunity by Phyllanthus emblica compound tablets.Methods:Prepare the Phyllanthus emblica compound tablets by Phyllanthus emblica and Huangqi,Yuzhu,Gancao.Select healthy and chronic pharyngitis people take Phyllanthus emblica compound tablets,and collect the saliva before and after taking the tablets.Then measure the content of salivary SIgA by ELISA.Results:The tablets increased healthy people's salivary SIgA after taking two weeks(P=0.0120.05).But there is no statistics significance of chronic pharyngitis people's salivary SIgA after taking the tablets and comparison drug.Conclusion:Phyllanthus emblica compound tablets promote the secretion of salivary SIgA,strengthen the oropharyngeal mucous membrane immunity defence,and defend the infection of upper respiration way in healthy people.
