The Research of Molybdate and Molybdate-phosphate Conversion Films on Magnesium Alloy

The conversion films magnesium alloy AM60 surface based on molybdate and molybdate-phosphate were investigated.The composition,conformation,polarization curve and corrosion resistance in NaCl solution of the conversion coatings were analyzed.Results show that the molybdatephosphate conversion coating has a uniform alveolate-crystallized microstructure.The corrosion resistance of molybdate-phosphating film is higher than molybdate film.
