A heterogeneous cobalt catalyst for C–C bond formation by a borrowing hydrogen strategy

Co–MgO/TiO 2 exhibited high activity for α-alkylation of ketones with alcohols through a borrowing hydrogen strategy without the addition of bases which were utilized in reported heterogeneous catalytic systems.
