Around the world, a sizable number of people including kids, teenagers, people with intellectual disabilities, elderly people with Alzheimer's disease, and others go missing every day. Unfortunately, these people are frequently never located. It is estimated that every day, more than 500 cases of missing persons in India alone go unsolved. Currently, the search for missing people can be a drawn-out, difficult, and time-consuming process for both the police and the general public. Additionally, there is no assurance that the procedure will produce reliable results. The proposed system involves matching pictures of missing people with pictures uploaded to a central database using face recognition machine learning models, specifically the FaceNet and Mobile FaceNet models. Through the use of a mobile application, the general public can participate in this system with little to no effort by simply sharing a photo of a missing person. The process of locating a missing person takes much less time and effort thanks to the application, which compares the submitted photo with pictures in the database and identifies potential matches. Finding missing children using our system is a speciality. Through the central database, people can submit images of children who strike them as suspicious, along with GPS coordinates, remarks, and other identifying details.The submitted image is then examined alongside other missing children's images in the database. Law enforcement's efforts to find the missing child will be helped by the system's ability to find the best match. It's important to remember that while our system can aid in finding missing people, it is not error-free. The system will open a new case for the person if a new face that isn't already in the database is submitted. Our suggested system has the potential to significantly enhance the process of locating missing people, providing their families and loved ones with much-needed relief.
