The Relationship among Participation Motivation, Exercise Emotion, and Addiction of Swimming Club Member

The purpose of this study examined the analysis of relationship among participation motivation, exercise emotion, and addiction of swimming club member. The data were collected with purposive sampling 301. after excluding 2 4 data because partial part of the survey was missing or insincere responses were included, this study analyzed 277 data with SPSS 21.0 & AMOS 21.0 through descriptive, factor, correlation, multiple regression and structural equation model analysis. The major findings were as follows. First, the motivation of swimming club member had positive influence on their exercise emotion. Second, the motivation of swimming club member had positive influence on their exercise addiction. Third, the exercise emotion of swimming club member had positive influence on their exercise addiction. Fourth, the exercise emotion mediated relationship between participation motivation and exercise addiction. The results stated above were discussed based on the previous studies and empirical research regarding participation motivation, exercise emotion and exercise addiction.
