The Adhesion of Glaze and Rime on Aluminium Electrical Conductors

A systematic study has been made of the adhesion of glaze and rime on an aluminium conductor as a function of the roughness of the conductor, the velocity of the air flow containing supercooled droplets and the ambient temperature.
