摘要
• The preparation scheme of NiCoP-Te/NF is simple and low in cost. • Through XPS integrated that Te was well integrated into NiCoP. • NiCoP-Te/NF has excellent HER performance and long-term stability. Doping regulation is a common and effective solution to improve the performance of electrocatalysts. Herein, a metalloid Te-doped NiCoP was developed and synthesized in situ on nickel foam (NiCoP-Te/NF) to reduce the overpotential of the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). The NiCoP-Te/NF electrocatalyst exhibits superior HER performance with a low overpotential of 71 mV at 10 mA cm -2 , as well as remarkable durability in alkaline solutions.
