摘要
The corrosion behaviour of AISI 52100, AISI 316, and AISI H13 steels in various corrosive media, such as artificial sea water solution and Hank's balanced salt solutions, was studied. The corrosion behaviour of AISI 52100, AISI 316, and AISI H13 is researched here in order to better understand the various effects of corrosion on the materials in various environments and circumstances. It aids in a better understanding of the material's usage and effects. Initially, wafer cutting techniques are used to form the materials into the desired dimensions, and the surface roughness of these materials is examined. Using an electronic weighing balance, the needed amount of chemicals are used to prepare the solution. The materials are exposed to the solutions that have been created. Finally, the materials are removed over a period of time. Corrosion rates are assessed. The characterisation of corroded surfaces was done with an electronic microscope, and the weight loss and hardness of the surface were also assessed.
