摘要
Abstract Low molecular weight poly(ethylene carbonate) diol (PECD) synthesized from CO 2 and ethylene oxide is a kind of “green” polymer material. The polymer derived from PECD has excellent biocompatibility, biodegradability, and flexibility. In this study, PECD and polyether polyol 3050 were used together as soft segments to prepare flexible polyurethane foam. The effects of PECD content on thermal properties, tensile and tearing properties, resilience, and compressive properties at different temperatures of flexible polyurethane foam were studied and compared. The results showed that with the increase of PECD content, the mechanical properties of composite flexible polyurethane foam were enhanced. Therefore, PECD has potential application in the preparation of flexible polyurethane foam.
