Chemical constituents of the leaves of Fissistigma balansae

Abstract Phytochemical study on the leaves of Fissistigma balansae led to the isolation of one new sesquiterpene glycoside, (3 S ,6 E )‐3 ‐O‐β‐ D‐glucopyranosyl‐8‐hydroxy‐3,7,11‐trimethyldodeca‐1,6,10‐triene ( 1 ), and six known compounds, aromandendrane‐4 β ,10 α ‐diol ( 2 ), phloridzosid ( 3 ), astragalin ( 4 ), isoquercitrin ( 5 ), and rutin ( 6 ), acanthoside B ( 7 ). Their chemical structures were identified by HR‐ESI‐MS and NMR (1D and 2D) spectra. This is the first report of these compounds from F. balansae .
