Atlas of thermal data of biomass and other fuels—a report on the forthcoming book

Abstract An Atlas of thermal data of biomass and other fuels is under preparation. It will include TG/DTA data for over 100 fuel samples ranging from various biomass materials to municipal wastes. Information pertaining to fuel pyrolysis, degradation pattern and proximate analysis is provided for each sample. The effects of heating rate, sample size and sample storage period are addressed in detail. The Atlas also includes an overview of thermal analysis, kinetic treatment of TG/DTA data and potential errors encountered during the collection of thermal data.
