Study on Blending and modification of Different PC with PETG

The blends of poly(ethylene terephthalate-co-1,4-cyclohexylenedimethylene terephthalate)(PETG) with different polycarbonate(PC) were blended in the twin-screw extruder by melt blending,and three different groups of PC/PETG blends were prepared.The mechanical properties,solvent resistance,transparency,compatibility,processing fluidity and micromorphological structure of different blends were studied.The results showed that PC2858 blended with PETG had the best properties.The PETG/PC2858 alloy prepared had the excellent mechanical properties and solvent resistance in high transparent thermoplastic plastics.
