Objective:To observe the effect of bedside application of intra-aortic balloon pump(IABP) in patients with acute myocardial infarction complicated with cardiogenic shock.Methods:8 patients with acute myocardial infarction complicated with cardiogenic shock were included. They were treated with bedside IABP.The successful rate and the complications of the bedside IABP were analyzed. Results:There are 5 patients who were treated with primary percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).The successful rate of bedside application of IABP were 100%.All patients were recovery and no one died. Conclusion:The early application of bedside IABP is safe and feasible in patients with acute mycardial infarction complicated with cardiogenic shock.
