Chemical Constituents from Stem of Dendrobium wardianum

Five compounds were isolated from the stem of Dendrobium wardianum by silica gel column chromatography methods,and identified by physicochemical properties and spectral data as aduncin(1),amotin(2),4′,5,7-trihydroxy-3′,5′-dimethoxyflavanone(3),β-daucosterol(4),and β-sitosterol(5).All of the five compounds were first reported in this plant.This study built the foundation for the development and utilization of this plant.
