Analysis of Vegetation Index in He'nan Province Based on MODIS

The vegetation index data of Henan province was extracted from MODIS data.By analyzing the characters of EVI curve and NDVI curve in different vegetation types,and their time change rules,the space distribution features of vegetation of Henna province can be explored.The research showed that the NDVI curve was always higher than the EVI curve,but the EVI curve presented smoother.Two index change trend and space distribution pattern were basically the same,and both curves can well reflect the spatial distribution and the season succession of vegetation in Henan province.
