摘要
The liquid-liquid extraction method has been one of the most critical chemical engineering processes for many years. The combination of liquid-liquid extraction and microfluidic systems constitutes a significant advancement in this process in recent years. The inherent advantages of microfluidic systems, due to their micro dimensions and the widespread application of liquid-liquid extraction, have made this process more applicable in various industries. This article focuses on microfluidic systems, discussing the effects of changes and modifications made to the main channel of these systems, as well as the resulting improvements in flow type and channel shape, and their applications. The assessment concludes with a discussion of the prospects of this field.
