Barber Ant Alopecia

A 26-year-old woman presented with overnight alopecia after encountering ants in her hair, later identified as Pheidole pallidula, "barber ants". Ant-induced alopecia is a rare condition, resulting from mechanical biting and chemical actions by the ants. Spontaneous regrowth usually occurs.
