Study on the Luminescence of Long Persistence Phosphor Materials

Ba doped SrAl 2O 4:Eu and Dy doped SrAl 2O 4:Eu phosphors have been synthesised rapidly at 500～900℃ by combustion procedure. The results show that Dy +3 doped SrAl 2O 4:Eu phosphor materials have longer persistence phosphorescence than SrAl 2O 4:Eu phosphor. The luminescence characteristic of phosphor and long persistence phosphor materials has been discussed.
