Preparation and Study on Anti-dandruff Efficacy of Shampoo Containing Chinese Medicine

To prepare the Chinese medicine shampoo and study its anti-dandruff efficacy,the matrix formula of Chinese medicine shampoo was obtained by selecting the optimal ratios of main ingredients in shampoo with the comparison experiment.The anti-dandruff efficacy of Chinese medicine shampoo was observed on the basis of in-vitro experiment and investigators' assessments to compare the differences of the test shampoo and the controlled shampoo in improving the clinical assessment scores.All the checkpoints of shampoo containing 12% of Chinese medicine extract met the standard of QB/T 1974-2004.It could inhibit bacterial growth,reduce dandruff and improve scalp itching.
