Action of Glucomannan in Amorphophallus rivieri Durieu on Mutured Obese Rats

The test results show that glucomannan in Amorphophallus rivieri Durieu (0.17～1.5 g/kg) can decrease the weights,lipopexia,number and size of lipocytes,the levels of serum trigglyceride, high density lipoprotein and glucose of nutured obese rats,The anti obesity mechenism of the glucomannan may be making small intestine intima be normal state and making their hyperpepsia recover.
