Optimal operation and cleaning of reverse osmosis system for power supply water

Fouling is one of the most important problems associated with the application of reverse osmosis system for power supply water.In this paper,the researeh and application on fouling and chemical cleaning for reverse osmosis are reviewed,and the categories and forming mechanism of fouling,the choosing of cleaning time,the selecting of cleaning agents,the main factors affecting the cleaning efficiency,the formation of cleaning system,the cleaning methods,the cleaning efficincy and several protective measures were introduced.
