The article describes the theoretical and methodological foundations for the development of psychomotor giftedness in the preschool years. An overview of modern approaches to teaching gifted children in domestic and foreign studies. Formulated the principles of teaching preschool children with symptoms of psychomotor talent. Are designated on the approaches to diagnostic evaluation of children with psychomotor talent. According to the author, the psychomotor development of gifted preschoolers may be based on the idea of amplification athletic education of preschool children based on review of the qualitative parameters of the content of physical education in preschool children. An approach to motor development of gifted children, based on the amplification of physical training education preschoolers. The principal basis of this approach is the complexity of game content and motor activity, orientation, motor skills initiative and competitiveness, strengthening leadership skills, enrichment and recreational sports environment, the implementation of sports and educational activities, taking into account the motor needs of the child.
