Research advances on oxidative stress in spinal cord injury

Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a neurological disorder disease caused by direct or indirect violence, which is a serious complication of spinal fractures. It can be divided into primary injury and secondary injury by injury mechanism. There is a close relationship between oxidative stress and secondary injury. In this article, the pathogenesis of secondary injury was further elucidated by the research of oxidative stress in SCI, and the anti-oxidants on anti-oxidative therapy appeared in recent years were analyzed to provide a new direction for SCI treatment.
