Template Synthesis and Crystal Structure of a Dilead(II) Complex of a Macrocycle with N4O2 Donor Set

Abstract A dilead(II) complex of a binucleating macrocycle formed by the condensation of two molecules of 2,6-diformyl-4-methylphenol and two molecules of 1,3-diaminopropane has been obtained by template reaction. The crystal structure of this complex was analyzed by single-crystal X-ray method.
