Changes in drug resistance of clinical pathogenic bacteria

Objective To investigate the distribution of pathogenic bacteria and drug resistance of staphylococcus in nosocomial infection during the last three years in our hospital.Methods The results of clinical culture were identified by VITEK-32 bacteria analysis system.The K-B antibacterial disk susceptibility test was used as drug resistance test.Results The infection rate of coagulase negative staphylococcus were decreased year by year and staphylococcus aureus was increased.Staphylococcus aureus was in the first place in 2005.The drug-resistance rate of the meticillin-resistant staphylococcus to antibacterial agents was low,except vancomycin,furantoin and rifampin.Conclusion The results are helpful in the study on pathogenic bacteria and resistance characteristics in taphylococcus infection.
