A Microassay of Superoxide Dismutase(SOD) Based on Pyrogallol/Vc Method

The sensitivity of pyrogallol/Vc method for SOD assay could be increased 4 times over the original one by reducing pyrogallol amount down to 0.05 mmol/L and increasing pH volume up to 8.6. When 1 mL sample was added to the reaction system, 3.3×10-8 mol/(s·mL) SOD can be detected.
