A Research on Role Orientation of Excellent Women Volleyball Main Attacker and Assistant Setter——Evaluation on WANG Yi-mei's Double Roles and Argument for Two Technique Position

Using literatures,video observation and statistics,the paper made a research on spike characteristics of main attacker and assistant setter and combined the laws of modern volleyball with WANG Yi-mei technical statistics in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the 2009 FIVB World Grand Prix.The results showed that the spike techniques of main attack and assistant set have a strong position expertise.An unreasonable role orientation would have a negative impact on his own techniques and team tactic cooperation.When WANG Yi-mei played as a main attacker,the individual indicators are better than average level.And her standard score of spiking effect is greater than that of assistant setter.As an assistant setter,her rate of scores and errors are less than the average level.Her spike characteristics are more suitable for being the main attacker.
