Research and Practice in Teaching of English Vocabulary

This paper analyses the reasons that college students have not large vocabulary by means of the vocabulary learning strategy and the vocabulary teaching mode.Based on the analysis,some practices are explored in vocabulary teaching,like practicing in class and learning after class,which combines learning with practicing effectively and enables students to enlarge their vocabulary.
