g-C 3 N 4 and tetrabutylammonium bromide catalyzed efficient conversion of epoxide to cyclic carbonate under ambient conditions

A g-C 3 N 4 and n -Bu 4 N + Br − combination was found to be an efficient catalyst for the conversion of epoxides to cyclic carbonates under CO 2 filled balloon conditions.
