In this issue of Chem Catalysis, Huang and co-workers have prepared Pd single atoms on C3N4 (Pd1/C3N4) and Pd single-atom alloys on a SnO2 (Pd1/SnO2) multi-site catalyst (Pd1/SnO2&C3N4). The synergy between the Pd single atom and Pd single-atom alloy boosted the direct synthesis of hydrogen peroxide (DSHP) via H2 and O2.
