摘要
Recently, there’s been a growing emphasis on digital literacy as a fundamental skill every student should possess. In response to this trend, this study sought to define digital literacy and analyze how its elements are presented in current elementary school mathematics textbooks for grades 3 and 4. The results identified four main domains of digital literacy: the use of digital devices and software, the utilization and creation of digital information, digital communication and problem-solving, and digital ethics and information protection. This study found that activities emphasizing “digital problem-solving,” “collecting and storing data,” and “analyzing and representing information” were prominent. However, activities related to “digital ethics and information protection” were relatively infrequent. Based on the results of the analysis, this study provides textbook writers with implications on what to further consider in covering the digital literacy.
